You will soon see that I'm being facetious. First off, an introduction is in order. My brother Jason (Webslinger516) and I (Ender[SkF]) are members of the Sukkah Free Clan, a clan that is made up of just your average to above average players. And like 90% of the people on battle.net, we enjoy playing 2v2's and 3v3's on BGH. It was on a normal weekend night that we had our first match with a true professional.
If you didn't know, Pillars is from the world-renowned Clan nine. He just spent the last three months in Korea as a professional gamer. He plays with the likes of Xd's Grrr, Maynard, and Montaro and is considered in some circles to be the best Protoss player in the world. BUT he's never had to face the likes of me and my bro! And me and Jay had just crushed some sukkahs on BGH so when [9]Pillars and his partner Killer~Socks entered our 2v2 bgh FOR FUN!! game we were eager for a challenge at long last. We all randomed and the game began.
I drew Brown Terran at 2. Jason started as Yellow Protoss at 4, Pillars as Orange Zerg at 9 and Killer~Socks as Purple Protoss at 7. I scouted Pillars to find two hatches and a spawning pool.I was going with a standard 3 barracks academy build. Jason's plan was to tech to quick corsairs. GREAT IDEA JAY! THANKS FOR LEAVING YOURSELF OPEN! Killer~socks found Jay teching, so he and Pillars came in quick with lings and zealots. I tried to send marines to help but was intercepted by pylons, cannons, and zealots at Jay's natural. I was stunned by how fast Killer~Socks was able to erect such an ambush.
Even as Jason's base was being dismantled, I was still just happy and excited to be playing such a well-known player as Pillars. I kept typing things like "I still can't believe we're playing Pillars" and "We're being schooled by Pillars himself!"
As Jason's last buildings were going down, I said to my brother, "I'm gonna attack Pillar's base just so I can say I did." I killed some of Killer~Socks zealots en route with stimmed marines and medics, but their forces destroyed my group before reaching Pillar's base. Jason warned me that Pillars had mutes coming to my base. So I built 3 turrets, and had two tanks and some marines and medics. I braced for the inevitable double attack. Not only did they destroy my base, but they built pylons all over it. I was microing my tank by firing at a zealot, then backing away, and firing again. Killer~Socks actually built a pylon where my tank was headed and cut it off, allowing 2 zealots to take it out. Damn man.
GG's were exchanged as the game was definitely over. Killer~Socks invited me and Jay to chat with them in Channel Socks and have a possible rematch. Both he and Pillars were very friendly and polite. Pillars left after talking with us for a bit. Good thing he did, too, cuz me and Jay woulda schooled him. (LOL!!)
I hope you enjoyed this battlereport. It just goes to show that on BGH you can sometimes find some pretty stiff competition. Also I discovered just how much better the professionals are than us normal folk.

This is the ambush that Killer~Socks prepared for my troops at Jason's natural. The blood stains mark where my troops once stood.
I offer my brother words of encouragement despite our predicament.
This is the final attack on my base. Note the pylons warping in. Dang.
This is a snippet of our chat with these well-mannered professionals.
