Welcome to another RubiksCube Battlereport

This, as many others of my reports is not a StarCraft Battlereport. Those who expected one of those: The purple color means OTHER, damnit. Now for those who are still reading, let me introduce you into the game this report is about: Sudden Strike.
Sudden Strike is a realtime strategy game produced by cdv. It is very similar to other real time strategy games, except for one fact: you are not able to built units. You receive a certain amount of units at the start of every game and you are supposed to gain "reinforcements" by conquering flags that are spread across the map and hold them for a certain time, called "activation time" which can range from 0:00 minutes to 99:59 minutes. The average "activation time" is 0:30 to 1:00 minutes.
Now being forced to work with what you got, the game of sudden strike gets really intense. By good positioning, you have to work your way to the next flag, or simply rush into it with all you got.

In the game of sudden strike, recon is everything. Every team has special units, like heavy artillery, or even rocket launching tanks (i.e the russian Katyusha). These units have superior range, in some cases, they can shoot over half the map, but lack sight. Therefor every team has options to gain information of enemy troop placement.
The General, for example, carries binoculars, with which he can increase his sight to a certain spot. A common option to 'scout' is to send empty transports into enemy fire, to see were a General is standing, were the Artillery is located and so on. In some maps, even planes are available as scouts.

Superior Placement of units is also essential in Sudden Strike. A nice ring of Antitank Cannons and Machine Guns, can rip through any convoy of tanks and infantry that crosses their way.

In Sudden Strike, its possible to train your troops. If your infantry shoots much, it will get better. A common strategy is to let your people shoot at your own tanks at the start, while they have nothing to do. While infantry with guns, like snipers and normal rangers cant hurt tanks, they will get better by shooting at them.

Rangers can lay mines, to make tanks unable to move. A tank that cant move isnt out of the game though. It can still turn its tower and shoot.

Every unit in the game has only a certain amount of ammunition. You can reload ammunition or repair tanks, by putting a support waggon next to the specific unit.

The three teams that you are able to take control of are the Germans, the Russians and the Allied Forces. Each has certain advatages and disadvantages. Its more like AoK differences, though, not comparable to StarCraft, so I guess few of you would care at all.

Enough for the pre-talk:
Lets get into the game....

Team FK: [=-FK-=] Freiherr v. Darmstadt, [=-FK-=] Masslin,[=-FK-=] Der rote Baron und
[=-FK-=] Florian Bröker.
They are the good in this story. The best clan in Europe and Germany, been ESSL Champion this
year, as well as German Champion. They are also very known and respected for their good
manner and behaviour in and outside of games.
Team CfuP:[CfuP]Grosskotz, [CfuP]Elite, [CfuP]Tollwut und [CfuP]Exorzist
They are the evil. The names says it "Community for undisciplined Players". If you look up a
dictionary for "Bad Manner", there's their clan logo. They are bad and they want to be. They
dont lack skill, though. They also have been ESSL Champion. (ESSL = European Sudden Strike
League).
The game starts and both teams take their starting moves. On the Minimap, the black spots are
CfuP, the white are FK. CfuP, from left to right: Tollwut, Grosskotz, Elite, Exorzist. FK
from left to right: Baron, Freiherr, Masslin, Bröker.
-The Game starts-

There not much happening at the start. Each player takes their starting flags being: Baron
takes yellow, Freiherr takes green, Masslin takes blue and Bröker takes the red flag. On the
other side, Tollwut takes his red, Grosskotz takes a blue one, Elite has green and Exorzist
controls a yellow flag. There is only one flag unconquered thats a 3rd blue which is in the
middle.
-The first troop-movement builds a front where the battle will take place-
Tollwut and Grosskotz decide to take the advantage and start a double rush on the yellow flag.
This is a success at first and the conquer it. But they cant hold it through out the
activation time and a massive counter by both, Baron and Freiherr forces them to retreat.
Meanwhile the artillery fire on the west side of the river takes heavy casualties of the CfuP
side. Masslin is able to kill a huge amount of enemy soldiers, by clever unit placement,
recon and artillery fire. Bröker get into some kind of stalemate with his opponent, noone is
able to gain an advantage.
-The rush for yellow fails-
Using the rush for yellow as a distraction, Tollwut is able to get some troops behind enemy
lines where they remain hidden. Meanwhile, Masslin and Freiherr work there way to the middle
blue flag, Masslin holding the lines, while Freiherrs Pioneers build a pontoon bridge over
the river to reach the flag.
-Things are looking good for FK-
The hidden troops behind enemy lines decide to jump into the action and mine the starting
spot of Baron. Doing this they kill a huge mass of his reinforcements, and the worst thing
is, they are able to kill Barons General. FK is not able to conquer the middle blue flag,
because Masslin had to send some troops to help Baron out at his start spot.
-Masslins troops help to deny the worst things to happen-
This is a hard change in the situation for FK, so they decide to make it all or nothing. They
gather troops from all sides to prepare for a huge rush on red, to even up the situation.
Masslin and Bröker send all the troops they can spare over a new built pontoon bridge and
with combined forces the four are ready to roll.
-The Preparations for the rush on red are done-
The rush is on its way and things are looking good for FK. The red flag is conquered after
some skirmishes with CfuP troops. But CfuP must've anticipated this move, and an even greater
army comes and clears the flag only seconds before the activation time runs out. In this
attack Freiherrs General is killed, and that was the decision. The battle is lost. Masslin
tries a last rush for blue, but is rejected hard, so FK concedes the game

Winner in about 2h 30min: CfuP
Thanks all who read this, please comment. Dino Din, this time I will leave the first comment
open, just to make you happy. I apologize that I had no screenshots and could only present
you these confusing mini-maps. I hope you understood some of the game though. Comments are,
as always, welcome.
