Hello, and welcome to my first BR, and my first post on br.com
First though, the players: There's me, Ownage_Mobile , who is a decent player(despite my record), and one who you may have seen in ~nohunters, most likely saying something stupid and annoying people. Then there's my opponent, Fraserfrules , who the match just before owned me in the lamest match-up ever, TvT . Luckly for you, I won't report that match. All right, that's enough about the players, on to the match!

Map: Lost temple (like you had to guess)
I get chosen Terran and 6:00
Fraser gets random Protoss at 12:00
I have to add right now that from the way Fraser owned me in TvT last game I had no doubt that he was 100X better than me. But, would his skill be enough to save him from the most unbalanced, heterosexually challenged match-up StarCraft has ever seen (well, unless your Mark4)?
The game starts off with me and Fraser going the usually TvP build. He goes for the typical fast tech to core, and I go for a wall-in plus factory. Our build orders look something like this:
Fraserfrules: 8 Pylon, 10 Gate, 11 Assimilator, 14 Core, 15 Pylon.
Now to the action. Fraser sends his first 2 goons to start harassing my wall-in. I have 2 marines there (which I build to later scout exps), which die without much effort, but hold him off long enough to get my first tank out.
My starport finishes as his reinforcing goons wisely retreat to my mineral only. He also chooses this time to expand to the 3:00 main while I'm contained. I load up my completed dropship with 2 tanks and merrily hug the left side of the map while flying to his mineral only. My dropship manages to make it's stealth landing, dropping 2 tanks next to Fraser's mineral line.
Stupidly, I siege both my tanks, and with courage you wouldn't think probes could possess, they charged my tanks. Shocked, my tanks couldn't even lift a finger to unsiege, and they are promptly beaten down, much to the excitement of the probes. After which they happily go back to their mining.
Even though that drop was almost a complete failure (It did stop his mining), I did get some valuable recon in the form of a warping citadel of adun. Seeing this I put down an academy, for some detection (I had turrets around my workers, but I decided not to put one near my wall-in). Thinking I was slouching on tank production during that crappy display of micro, he orders his goons outside my mineral only to attack. I had 2 tanks which greeted the goons with a little yultide (spelling?) cheer in the form of arcilite cannon fire.
His archives finish as I prepare another drop (this time 2 vults & a tank). This drop is no better as he runs his probes, but he's forced to bring his containment force back from my mineral only. I load the vultures in the ship and and chase the probes as my tank hammers on the nexus, only to have Fraser's goons blow the ship out of the sky. They then procede to mass rape my tank, and the workers once again go back to work, an uneasy calm settling again over his base.
I use a scan to check the 3:00 main, and it seemed my hunch was right, he had set up a base there, and it was not too defended either. Unfortunatly, the dark temps he built started to harass my wall-in, but a quick scan took care of them, allowing me to lift off my newly built CC and start mining my natural. The threat of actually facing dt's cause me to build a sci facility, to make some form of mobile detection.
With a new dropship, I load up 2 tanks and procede to his naked exp, while building some more factories at home with my expanded economy. Learning from past mistakes, I only siege one tank, making sure he can't probe rape me again. After I kill a few probes and his probes run, I siege the other tank, and begin to beat down on the nexus. His 8 goon army comes and stops my rampage however.
Ok, enough now. Time for Ownage_Mobile to take some real offensive. So I tank my army of 7 tanks and 4 vultures to his exp + a sci vessel for possible dt's. I seige the tanks at the ramp and use my vessel to spot for them. Also I sent my vultures ahead and they were able to get some goons with their all powerful mines. He sends in 5 zealots and a dt just as I am unsieging my tanks. His zealots manage to beat my force, and I retreat my vessel before he sends any goons.
Thinking I would be weak after my failed push, he sends the squad that raped my tanks along with some reinforcements at my main. He doesn't even bother with my exp, he just charges them right through my main, but I have a couple of sieged tanks there and some vultures, which prevent him from getting too far in. Scanning the 9:00 main and finding it empty, I order an scv to construct a CC to fly over (an exp which he never finds the whole game). Also, I use my scans to constantly scan the islands, just in case (island bases usually mean carriers).
Deciding to try my luck with drops again, I order my two dropships full of 2 tanks and 4 vultures to his main, which find some cannons protecting the mineral line, but they find a place to land just outside it, and procede to use typical terran harrassment tactics, such as mining gateways and sieging and attacking the nexus. His forces come and clear out my guys, and I retreat my dropships back to my main.
I try my push again with about the same # of tanks and vults, and even though he uses his goons to flank my forces, my 1/0 upgrades win out. I mine his exp gates just as zealots are pouring out through them. He uses my failure to expand to his natural and the 3:00 natural.
I send in some vults as his nexi are popping in and my vults do some nifty spider mine dancing to kill the zealots. I also send in about 7 tanks a few minutes after the vultures, and they are able to defeat the zealots with the help of shift + click
A good thing doesn't last forever, and like the saying goes, he procedes to take ~9 zealots fresh from aiur and introduce them to my tanks. Needless to say my 6 remaining tanks can't take them and he procedes to run towards my main. It's Deja Vu all over again, and his counter is once again repulsed.
I immideatly send 5 tanks and 6 vultures to his exp. Oddly, he goes for High temps when I barge in, and without storm researched yet, my vults tear into the main while my tanks hit the natural. The high temps transform into archons though and in the end, I'm left with 2 vultures. Strangely, he doesn't try to stop them, and I procede to slowly take out his pylon and gateways, staying away from his cannon protected mineral line.
Meanwhile, I assault his main with an assortment of tanks and vultures, finding a shit-load of warping in gates about to be produced on the temple low ground. I quickly mine the area around his warping in gates, but he brings in a pimp squad of ~12 zealots, and kills my tanks and vults and proceed to my main. For about the 3rd time this game, they are slapped down. Looks like my 1/2 units owned his 1/0/0 units (armor,shields,attack). Looks like upgrades do help.
After that I use his failed attempt at raping my base to go run my vultures up to his low ground gates and lay down some more mines. He attacks my vults with a mass of goons, and the occasional dt or zealot. He then goes for his last, final, and greatest assault on my main. He is no more successful this time then he was any other time. With his last hopes crushed, his forces battered, and his bases about to be mined out, he concedes the game just as my tanks siege up outside his base. I'll let you guys decide whether I should write another BR or not (although looking at the amount of people spamming the br section, you guys shouldn't be picky) . So post me some comments damnit!!!
