Map: Small Divide (if you haven't played this map... it's an 64x64 map with a canyon in the middle... nothing else)
Me: Upper left hand corner
Him:(I'm gonna kill myself now I can't remember the guy's frickin name.. oh well.. names are not that important)He was red...
I start off with a 10/10 depot.... I have 9 SCV's working my 6 mineral patches at the moment and as soon as the depot is finished... I built a rax then about 7 more SCV's sending 3 more on minerals and 4 on vespene... I get an academy and comsat his where I figured he would be... to my large surprise he has a rax, a bay, an academy, and is COMPLETELY surrounded by bunks...he must have spent over 1000 minerals on bunks.... this following conversation went on next...

Red (Still can't remember):Not yet, I gotta get more and then just a few turrets...

I get 2 more rax and start pumping MFM combos, around the time the 2nd rax is done i get a factory then starport with control tower... I figured with one rax he couldn't filled all those bunks... well I comsatted once more before i sent 4 dropships over full of MFM's and he has now surrounded himself with about 20 turrets.. but there was something really odd... one of his turret's stood still.. it wasn't spinning.. then another little conversation came about

Well I unload my infantry, and slaughter him... we exchange gg's and he leaves but I didn't kill the nonspinning turret..I choose to continue playing for a second and check it out... I sent a marine over to shoot it once and it blew up in one shot...
Weird, very weird... it wasn't a very good BR but the nonspinning turret was a site to see... I took a pic then realized it wouldn't do much good because the picture doesn't move...
To all raters: Kill it in the rating department if you want but the nonspinning turret was a site to see... |
