Lifetime Rating for Jigga``BK: 5.5000 |  | Well, lets start something new here. I have a few pregame lessons learned.
1. Dont play on battle.net if your a lamer, hacker, or someone that cannot finish a game. You people have no
idea how frustrating it is to have a partner that bails
on you because they are gettin their asses kicked.
2. Do not turn on someone mid game. This only breeds the
anger in side of them that makes them want to beat you
so badly that they actually will think more clearly.
3. And last but not least, almost NEVER send all of your troops into an early battle to save a partner, because i know personally that this is a new team strat that is
being used and no troops at home means you are gonna
get smoked. If someone is being double teamed, sure send
a marine group or a group of M&M's, but for god sakes,
dont leave yourself open for someone who can't fend off
an eary 4 zergling rush!!!
4. FOR GOD SAKES CHANGE YOUR MESSAGING WHEN ALLIED!!!
Anyway, all that being said, lets get to the game, shall we?
Setting the scene:
There were 4 players, tvb, i was with someone named JunkHead, and the opponents were CommandoRed and Tom_The-Feard.
Map-
Wrath of God (HOLY SHIT!! NOT HUNTERS!! THANK GOD!!)
Locations:
Jigga``BK red, Protoss (selected) 12 oclock
JunkHead orange Terran (Random) Geesh! 3 oclock
CommandoRed Teal Zergie (Selected) 6 oclock
Tom_The-Feard purple terran (selected) 9 oclock
Well, the game starts, and naturally, my rock head newbie partner fogets to change his messaging, and without me knowing it, is broadcasting my whole strategy to both of the other players, and they will, of course, be one step ahead of us the whole game. Yea, i know how dumb that sounds of him, but this is a really funny game. Anyway, i start with the normal toss order for dark templars, and go 7.5 pylon,
yadda yadda and so on. Then my partner gets the smooth idea of skipping defense all together, and sayin to me (and everyone) PROTECT MY MAIN, I'M GONNA RUSH WITH 3 RAX.
I said ok i guess i could do this, and he went ahead and built 3 rax, and i finished my 2 gates, and was working on a forge, and began to scout. By the time i have 4 zealots, the first rush comes from purple, in the form of 4 marines that my 4 warriors from aiur quickly dispose of. Then, in another brillaint tip off, he tells me something to the effect of
DARK TEMP HIS EXPANTION
So, like the genius i am, i rush my dt's (now finished)
into his expantion, and what do ya know. They were met by 2
turrents and 5 tanks. Yepo, they lasted around 3 seconds.
So, for around ten minutes i had been rackin my brain trying to think why they would have this kind of setup out in the open for no apparent reason. Oh well i thought, they must be newbies. Sure.......just newbies.
Another five min passed, and in came a second rush, but this time, it came apon my terran snich of a partner. He was
absolutely crushed. All his peons were blown to bits by tank
cannon fire, and he hadnt upgraded. For gods sakes, he has a
5/13/4 record and hasnt upgraded after a half an hour?
HOW DID THIS PERSON WIN 5 GAMES? oh yea, you gotta love those bnet 7v1 comp killers games. Yea....that helps gain
skills. Dont make me laugh. Moving on, my partner pretty much had had enough, and i thought hes was a gonner. BUT...
NOOOO!!! He let out one last cry for help, SEND EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ASAP. I had 3 DT 6 Zealots, 8 goons, 4 reavers, and
6 scouts. Not enough to help a zergling rush (lol) and them knowing i was coming, the lurkers easily made me look like a punk.
Then, being that great thinker i am, i sent my last remaining 4 zealot 6 goon 2 reaver defense force into the fray for a last ditch effort. That attack bit it pretty quick too, and my last unit lived long enought to see his cc get destroyed, and see the 10 or so tanks and 20 or so mutas coming in to finish my partner. I saw a GG flash up from JH,
and he was gone. Sooooooo, that leaves me practically broke,
i have 2 zealots and a goon, and i have roughly 10 tanks and 20 mutas coming my way. Well, as you can prob guess, thats all folks. They dispose of me easily after my cannons are dust, and then i get this message CommandoRed: NEXT TIME< HAVE A PARTNER THAT KNOWS HOW TO MESSAGE
At that point in time, all my faith in every partner ive ever had was in question. Anyway, thats my game, and i hope you enjoyed my report.
Lessons Learned:
1. See beginning lessons
2. Dumb people shouldnt have computers in the first place,
let alone own starcraft
