I started of smiple enough by planning on going quick muties followed by a lurker drop, knowing that my strat would require ALOT of gas, I layed down an extractor first, when I had 6 drones, and immediately put 3 drones on it (I prefer 3 drones, it's just as fast as 4 drones, no matter WHAT the people at sc.org say) When I had 9 drones I spawned an overlord followed by a pool, a pair of hatcheries soon after, and finally a lair, followed immediately by a spire and a den when the spire completed.
Around the time my spire was 300-400 hp done he scouted me with a corsair which was driven off by a few hydras that I built right after my den, I spawed 6 mutalisks, and went down to his base to wreck havoc..
during this time I research overlord transport and lurker aspect, and also got a queens nest, and started an exspansion(first of many) When ovie speed finished I tried to drop him, but my overlords mysteriously disappeared. Anyway, I spawned 6 more mutalisks, and expanded to the top right main, and the one inbetween the two bases, I now had 4 mining bases, and was having trouble spending my minerals, before long, I had accumlated 10k, and had expanded yet again, he commmented that the last game he played on dire lasted forever, and the entire map was mined out. I found him attempting an exspansion at the exspansion above his main, but it was easily thwarted by my now 24 mutalisks, which we're 2/3, almost 3/3. He tried to stop it by dropping 4 dragoons at a time, but they never succeded in killing the last 6 muties there, they lived the entire game ffrom then on, defending an exspansion. I sent a group of 24 mutalisks down to his main, and commented on how EMPTY it was, the only things moving in it where the 3 probes mining gas, and the forge spinning (which he didn't cancel =] ) I decided that since I had him obviusly in 1 last base, I expanded to every island but the one aat th bottom left, and the one betweeen the 2 bottom ones. I had already accumulated about 90k in unspent MINERALS and about the same in gas. (70k atleast) Back at MY main I started mass production of hydralisks, which for some reason I never used (they we're 3/3) I decided since I was just having fun now, I built 12 defilers, and prepared for the first ever PLAUGE DROP! I loaded the 12 defilers into 3 overlords, and ha 6 of the defilers consume the other 6, and went off to plauge almost all of his buildings. I also sent a bunch of queens to his new exspansion, and destroyed evil templar there, and then sent in 12 muties, which kill almost an even number of corsair (they we're 1/0/2 thow) Then I broodlinged all of my broodlings, and quickly leveled his base! (funfunfun =] ) Now, since my ultralisks we'rent doing anything other than flirting with the idle drones, I loaded 10 up in 5 overlords, and dropped them on his main. I think I killed 3 dragoons. Maybe 2.
I continued to make mutalisks and sent them at his main, eventually I got pissed an just broodlinged all of his templar, and killed his last structure. When I had 9 mutalisks left i decided to speed up the process by maknig them into guardians. They annhilated the base that the broodlings didn't get (the broodlings DID kill the nexus though) He commented on how this was the most fun he's ever had in a game that he lost =] I said my resources we're at about 120k now, and that I prolly had 10 times his score! Well guess what, I camed withing mere points of my highest score ever. And I probabally only won this game because of a simple upgrade. Once muties get to 0/1 0/0/0 corsairs are gonna suddenly start to suck a larga amount of ass, because it will take several more hits for them to actually kill a single mutalisk.
Lesson Learned
0 Muta rushes OWN a toss player going for corsairs, because muties are just so darn fast!
0 Games are much more fun when you WIN.'
0 He did kill a few bases of mine, at the end, but since he didn't want his name revealed, I didn't say anything about that. So there.
