Ok, First of all, this is my FIRST battle report. I decided to play a game of zelda madness, and quickly found a game to join. It was a full house. People downloaded the map, and the battle was on.

There are 5 starting spots in this map. They are Top and bottom left, bottom center, and top and bottom right. I started out at bottom right. I decided to choose marines as my unit to make. My opponents chose either marines/ghosts/hydras/dragoons. All very common units. When I had accumulated 24 marines, I decided to attack the player above me. He had marines too, and I lost because of home advantage. But I continuted making marines and attacking him. Soon though, he had gained 100 total kills and chose a hero. He chose the guardian. At this point I had about 90 kills, and was getting zerglings, for my future plan. Then here I am with 6 marines, a bunch of zerglings, and suddenly I see a yellow acid ball coming at my bunker. I decided to charge, but only to be laid waste to his marines. Then I did something daring...I took out my bunkered marines, (they are alot better) and had them blast the guardian to hell. However, his attack was successful. My bunker was in the red, and had about 400 hit points remaining. I knew I had to act fast. So with my new defiler hero (I had about 150 kills now) I put a dark swarm on his marines. He replies "thanks" I said back, "You wont be thankful in a second." So I attacked with massive numbers of zerglings, and the marines couldn't shoot accuarately in the fart cloud, and died gagging. It took him a minute to realize what was going on, and he decided to get firebats. However, I had my 200th kill, and decided to get the tank hero. Also, I started to get archons instead of zerglings, as they handle firebats better, and he was getting wraiths. At this point I said "If I go down, I'm taking you with me." He just said "LoL" Well I sent in my archon mass, put up the dark swarm, hid the tank there, and pelted his bunker to dust. Ok, 3 to go. The only problem was that my bunker had only 200 hit points left.

**At this point I knew I could win but only if I attacked fast and hard**

The next player I attacked was located bottom center. He had massive numbers of goliaths and ghosts. Too bad these dont do much vs Archons in dark swarm. I put up 2 dark swarms (it costs 30 mana) and sent in the archons, the tank, and my bunker hero guys to support the tank. Once again, even with his masses, the tank managed to blow him away. Now, I had accumulated 300 total kills, and got another tank. My bunker was at 124 hit points and dropping fast. The last 2 players had been attacking each other the whole game, and therefore it was easy for me to kill the first one. 2 reasons. 1: their forces were low 2: they werent concentrating on me.

Once again, I did the same strategy, with tanks under darkswarm, and massive numbers of archons attacking, and whittled the first guy down. He only had dragoons, and thats all he was making the entire game. Once again, they couldnt stop tanks under dark swarm. His last words were "gay!"

The last guy now, because he realized me attacking, had backed off and started to mass....HYDRAS. My bunker had 45 hitpoints now, and I also was able to get a 3rd tank. No guts, no glory. ALL OUT ATTACK. I attacked with everything, but mainly concentrated on....tanks under dark swarm. I won the game with a burning bunker with 12 hit points left. That was my best victory ever in that game.

Stuff to remember-

Tanks under darkswarm are a great way to kill someone.

If you choose the guardian hero, put it up on the cliff where you cant hit it very easily.

Scout! None of the players could figure out that I was slowly killing them all with the same strategy. If they had gotten archons or zerglings, they could have easily stopped me.

Games are never nearly as fun unless they are close like this one was.

Archons under dark swarm really rip up wraiths.

Have fun!

(remember....1st battlereport...be nice!)
